What can you expect from a stay at Flint Holiday Cottages…?

A relaxing stay. We see our cottages as an extension of our own home so it is crucial to us that they are always ‘just right’. We stay regularly in our own cottages to make sure we experience the same as you ! We encourage customer feedback so we can continuously improve our standards.

Confidence. Our cottages are 4 star standard, giving you the reassurance of what to expect in facilities and comfort.

Everything you need. From the beds being made up to our ‘brilliantly equipped kitchens’, we try to think of pretty much everything (including a few little extras to make you feel really welcome – we even provide complimentary hand wash, bath/shower gel so you don’t have to pack it!). Provision of bath and hand towels are included in all our tariffs.

High standards of housekeeping. Our cottages are thoroughly cleaned between bookings to a high standard by our Housekeeper who lives locally. We regularly receives compliments from our guests – one recently remarked that it was cleanest cottage they had ever stayed in. We are very “ hands on “ owners and regularly check the cottages to ensure our standards of cleanliness and maintenance are maintained.

No ‘hidden’ costs. Our tariffs are straightforward and include all heating and electricity costs. The tariff we quote you is what you pay – we do not add on booking fees or charges for linen, or to bring your dog. Please contact us for a quote by email or phone, we will respond as quickly as we can, including evenings and weekends.

Dogs: We understand how enjoyable it is to be able to bring your dog/s on holiday – Flint and White Cottages both welcome dogs and have secure fenced gardens. Like many of our guests we love our dogs and the area is very pet friendly. If you are bringing your dog, please take a few minutes to look at our “DOGS POLICY” and contact us with any query.

And finally : we are the owners and if you have booked direct you will deal solely with us. We operate our website personally to maintain control and flexibility to guests requirements – with the exception of peak summer weeks you do not have to stay for a week Saturday to Saturday or Friday to Friday – if you have different requirements  just ask- we will do our best to accommodate you subject to availability.
If you have made your booking through Sykes Holiday Cottages ( our agent ) we will contact you to confirm receipt of your booking and answer any initial questions, then again a few days prior to your arrival to give access information.

However you make your booking, you will be able to contact us easily during your stay by phone or email if you have any concerns or questions about the cottage facilities.
