Yes we really are “ dog friendly” !
Upto 4 dogs are welcome (by prior arrangement – please check large breeds with us first) in Flint Cottage and 3 in White Cottage.
(Please note we are unable to accept any other type of pet ). We make NO charge for dogs, please bring all bedding/ bowls etc with you.

Both cottages have a safe secure enclosed garden ( we recommend Flint Cottage for larger dogs due to the bigger lawn area ) and Norfolk is wonderful for dogs, with lots of great beaches and wide open spaces to run!
A recent guest in Flint Cottage 2026 left these comments in our guest book : “ From the early contact handling of potential issues with our dogs, initial impressions and fitness for purpose , it is impossible to fault this lovely cottage as a holiday home…” So if in doubt before booking , just ask us, we will try to help.
Dogs on SHERINGHAM beach in summer : please note that there is a restricted area in summer ( May – September ) where dogs are NOT allowed which is approximately between the lifeboat station and the lifeguard watch point, either side is dog accessible, and we can recommend walking a short distance along the promenade ( in front of beach huts ) beyond the lifeguard point to access the large area of beach towards Cromer where at low tide there is plenty of space for your dog to enjoy! Even at high tide a walk along the bottom of the cliffs is accessible here .
A secure fenced dog exercise field is available for hire 20 minutes away , situated on the coast road between Cley next the Sea and Blakeney. Search “ Seaview dog meadow” to book and pay online.
Sheringham is a very “dog friendly ” town and many pubs/outdoor cafe seating areas allow well behaved dogs on leads
Sheringham Park ( National Trust- dogs on leads in summer to protect ground nesting birds ) in Upper Sheringham and Pretty Corner woodland on the edge of the town are both good dog walking areas only a short drive away, also Holt Country Park is nearby.
